Our Story
VIA is developed by Disciple One, a ministry committed to steady time in Scripture and one-to-one discipleship within the local church.
Churches invest deeply in teaching and leadership, yet discipleship often remains assumed rather than clearly supported. Disciple One exists to help churches encourage formation that is visible, relational, and rooted in Scripture, without adding unnecessary complexity or burden.
From the beginning, Disciple One has been shaped by collaboration with pastors, leaders, and ministry partners who share a commitment to disciple-making through the local church.
Our Theology and Philosophy
Scripture at the Center
Spiritual formation begins and ends with Scripture. We believe regular, thoughtful engagement with God’s Word shapes faith over time and grounds discipleship in truth.
Formation Over Information
Discipleship is more than learning content. Real growth happens as Scripture moves from knowledge to lived practice through time, trust, and obedience.
Directional Growth
Spiritual growth is a journey, not a scorecard. What matters most is direction over time, not perfection, pace, or comparison.
Spiritual Rhythms
Lasting formation grows through simple, repeatable practices. These rhythms create space for the Spirit’s work without turning growth into performance.

Faith is formed through shared life and trusted relationships. Disciples grow best together, within the life of the local church.

Technology should serve people, not lead them. Our tools are designed to support pastoral care and discernment, not replace relationships or the Church.
